### A Week in the Life of a Designer
What a whirlwind of a week it has been! As an interior designer, each day brings new challenges and exciting opportunities. This week, we kicked off a new project in Kensington while simultaneously wrapping up another in Cambridge. Juggling parenthood alongside a full-time job is no easy feat, but it keeps life vibrant and dynamic!
**Highlights of the Week:**
- **Spinning Classes:** Keeping active with some energizing spinning sessions has been a great way to stay motivated.
- **Family Time:** I cherish the moments spent with loved ones, especially as my husband and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary this week! 🥂❤️
- **Traffic Adventures:** 2 Houra at a standstill in Colchester to contend with, but it gave me some extra time to listen to podcasts and reflect on my day.
- **London Design Festival:** I dove into the exciting events at London Design Festival, soaking in new trends and ideas that inspire my work.
- **Podcast Editing:** I've also been busy editing episodes for the Interior Design podcast, where we share insights and inspiration with fellow creatives.
- **Discovering New Music:** Music with meaning has a special place in my heart, and this week I found some tracks that truly resonate with me.
As I navigate the chaos of a busy schedule, I’m reminded of the importance of finding inspiration in everyday moments. Each week is a blend of hard work, creativity, and trying to find a work life balance, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
